As Hydra makes part of the royal heraldry, even intimated to as bracketed between the Last Unicorn and biblical Leo Minor, we are not surprised to find it dominant within an engagement horoscope under the reptilian insignia.

Chariklo is exactly southern in Lupus, with Amycus not far away: looks like a lovely pranksome affair, after all. The Sun is appropriately in Libra. Mercury and Mars are with Ixion in Ophiuchus: alas as sadly invigilated by Hylonome above.

On the whole, the engagement horoscope confirms to the rather gloomy wedding time¹ in that it is does not convey the apex of harmony at all. If these horoscopes were for a country, then one would have only massive casualties to report. Especially the wedding time chosen, apart from Witchallow as logical part of the ceremony, looks more like a kamikaze's last stand than a wedding horoscope.

Once upon the time, there was perhaps something that could have served as a sort of nucleus for an eventual development of Astrology proper even in the UK. Surely, with the choice of times for the events as enlisted, there is hardly any hope for any corrections; a calculus that would seriously engage even Dr. John Dee 007.
